Gluten free Fish & Chips at The Sea Tree

It can be such a hassle to find a gluten free take away when you're gluten intolerant or a coeliac. Since I discovered this gluten free fish & chip shop over two years ago, I've been there many times and I absolutely love it.

The only reason I first found this gluten free fish & chip takeaway was because of this enormous outdoor sign...the perfect advertisement I have to say.

The Sea Tree, Ware

When I found out about The Sea Tree's gluten free options, I was very excited to be able to have fish & chips takeaway again. Genuinely, I hadn't had a takeaway for a couple of years since I found The Sea Tree in Ware.

The Sea Tree's menu is mainly gluten free, with GF labelled next to each item. The fresh fish & chips are cooked to order and they are delicious. I always seem to get cod and chips, as for me that's my usual. But at some point, I guess I ought to try the rest of the menu. I would highly recommend that you eat here, I love it.

I honestly don't recall the taste of a "normal" batter, but again my family and friends couldn't notice the difference that it was gluten-free. Overall, I think the portion sizes are perfect and the prices are definitely reasonable!

The golden-brown batter, the generous amount of fish and chunky chips – I would have never believed that this was all gluten free! The batter was very light, crunchy and delicious and the chips, were so tasty.

With that said, the Sea Tree has won my heart for the tastiest gluten free fish and chips.

Please do take a look at The Sea Tree's Instagram and Facebook.

Thanks so much for reading,
